Malarkey roofing products was started in 1956 by Herbert Malarkey. In 1976 Malarkey introduces fiberglass mat to 3-tab shingles and gives them the first 20-year warranty in the industry. The same year, Malarkey introduces the fiberglass Built-Up Roofing (BUR) system. The following year Malarkey introduces the first metric fiberglass shingle in North America. The same year, Malarkey introduces the first SBS polymer modified base sheet in North America. They have been manufacturing high quality roofing products for a very long time.

Every Malarkey Shingle warranty begins with a multi-year, non-prorated warranty period designed to protect your shingle investment and get it off to a good start. During this initial period shingles do not depreciate, and you enjoy 100% warranty coverage. 

Most Malarkey shingles come with a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY against manufacturing defects that adversely affect the performance of the shingle. It is offered to the homeowner who first had the shingles installed on the house they use as their primary residence. “Lifetime” coverage is in effect as long as you, the original owner, own the property 1 where the Malarkey shingles and accessories were installed.

Ten-Year material warranty covers manufacturing defects of the Malarkey’s supporting steep slope and low slope products.
