Mike Smyth brings two decades of comprehensive roofing industry experience to Johnson Roofing, having built his career from the ground up across every critical discipline the industry demands. His journey began in estimating, where he developed a precise, detail-oriented approach to evaluating roofing projects. That foundation has informed every role he has held since.
Over the years, Mike has held progressively senior positions at both small and large roofing companies, including Sales Representative, Sales Manager, General Manager, and Marketing and Advertising Director. This breadth of experience gives him an exceptionally well-rounded perspective: he understands roofing not only from the customer’s front door but from the operational and strategic levels that determine whether a company truly delivers on its promises.

Miguel has been in the roofing industry for over three years and currently works as a Sales Representative and Project Manager for our Residential Team. His goal is to make the roofing process as simple and stress-free as possible for homeowners. He has always taken pride in providing clear and detailed estimates that are easy to understand, all while keeping open communication from the first inspection through the completion of the project.
Miguel has always understood that a roof is a big investment and has always focused on being honest, responsive, and confident so that the homeowner can feel the same when they bring on Johnson Roofing as their partner. Taking care of the customer is always his first goal.
Sam Rector

For the past three years, he has been a key member of the team at Johnson Roofing, where he focuses on delivering high-quality roofing solutions tailored to commercial clients.
Prior to joining Johnson Roofing, Josh worked in legal litigation consulting and quality assurance inspections with Wrecorp in Peoria, Arizona. This background provides him with a unique, detail-oriented perspective on roofing systems, compliance, and performance standards.
Josh holds a TRI Certification, is an active member of IIBEC, and has been a participant in the Arizona Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA) since 2020. He is committed to staying at the forefront of industry standards and best practices, ensuring clients receive reliable, informed, and professional service.

He has a strong commitment to safety and company protocols across all active job sites. In addition to her phone responsibilities, Julie assists walk-in customers with purchasing tile, offering helpful guidance and a friendly presence. Known for bringing a smile with her every day, she creates a welcoming atmosphere for both clients and coworkers. Julie is also the “mama bear” to everyone in the office, always looking out for her team and offering support whenever it’s needed. Ginger brings decades of financial leadership to Johnson Roofing, having built her career as a Certified Public Accountant and Chief Financial Officer for large organizations. Since joining the team in 2021 as our accountant, she plays a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly, ensuring employees are paid on time every week and that all company financial obligations are handled with precision. Working part-time, Ginger is also a trusted resource for any financial questions, offering clarity and confidence backed by a lifetime of experience.
Even in retirement, Ginger chose to stay active professionally, and her reason says it all: “I love coming to work at Johnson Roofing. The Johnsons and my co-workers are great and fun to work with. Besides, using my brain helps keep me smart.” Step into her office, and you’ll quickly see another side of her personality: her impressive flamingo collection, which adds a fun and memorable touch that reflects the warmth she brings to the workplace.
